We truly practise what we preach. The Goat Village (TGV) is completely solar powered. It is a plastic free zone where we encourage our guests to minimise water and energy consumption.
We promote responsible waste management, upcycling and use of pre-loved stuff. We actively work to raise awareness among guests about the importance of preserving the natural environment and respecting local culture and traditions.
Crafting a community connect
Experience the essence of Garhwal Himalayas at The Goat Village, Nag Tibba, where we proudly offer 10 cottages constructed using the traditional architectural technique known as ‘Koti Banal’, practiced for over a thousand years. Immerse yourself in the local way of life as you reside in these charming Garhwali cottages, thoughtfully designed to provide a comfortable and extraordinary living experience. Indulge in the flavours of Garhwali cuisine, cooked using the produce from local farms with recipes of the local Pahadi grandmothers. Experience the farm life; milk the goats, visit the fields and pick the local wild berries or the fruits from the trees.
All services and produce are sourced from the people living in the region. The Goat Village (TGV) strives to be part of the life of the people by providing employment and a client base for the local small business owners.
